Steve has over 15 years working in IT delivery in a number of roles including software engineer, development team leader, project manager, professional services manager and director of operations. | ![]() |
He combines a strong focus on delivery and meeting the project objectives, and understanding, communicating and delivering the expected business benefit. He has excellent communication and presentation skills and extensive experience of customer and stakeholder management.
He is retained as an Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University and teaches for the computing faculty and the business school. He works on the 'Business Information Systems' and 'Computing' courses. He is also an occasional guest lecturer on IT project management at the University of Bath.
He is based in the Midlands but travels nationally and internationally as required
Steve is a certified Microsoft Professional (MCP) and has a BSc 2:1 degree in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham, and has attended recent training courses in NLP coaching, 'marketing for IT executives' & 'finance for IT executives' from MIT (Massachusetts institute of technology), business process re-engineering and software testing (including ISEB certification). He is a PRINCE2 practitioner and ISEB certified project manager
